Home-made yogurt with Honey and Red fruits

Home-made Yogurt with Honey and Red fruits

I won't be blabby much this time.
Let's just savour this in silence.
This is my Wordless Wednesday.

Home-made Yogurt
Adapted recipe from
here

2 cups whole milk

2 cups reconstituted non fat dry milk
1/4 cup non fat dry milk powder
2 tbsps of yogurt

For the flavoring
Honey (you will be needing about 2 tablespoons of honey per 125 g of yogurt)
Fresh red fruits (raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, etc)

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Scald, do not boil; remove from heat. Pour into a bowl; cool to lukewarm. Stir in 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt; cover and let it stand in a warm place for about 10 hours. Then transfer them in your desired jars or bottles and keep them refrigerated. Always save some from the first batch to start the next batch.

Oh yum! I may have to try that sometime. Yogurt and fresh fruit is one of my favorite foods. I can eat it all day long. During the summer is my favorite time, though, because I Just love fresh berries!

Happy WW!

Beautiful yogurt! It looks like the perfect summer breakfast. Yogurt is one of those things that I always take for granted and just buy from teh grocery. A few days ago I made almond milk- another one of those things I take for granted. So delicious! Great job with this! I love!
